The story

Why Tessel exists

Tessel started as a weekend fix for one founder’s parents, who kept losing their seed phrases. Two years later it is the wallet most new Oriel users open first.

The round 3 grant paid for passkey sign-in and a recovery flow that works with two trusted contacts instead of twelve words. Both shipped on time, and both are now open source for other wallets to reuse.
