The foundation spent $6.1M between July and September 2026. Every payment below links to its transaction on the explorer, and the full spreadsheet is attached at the end.

Where the money went

Most of the quarter went to grants, as it should. Audits were the second line, because two large upgrades shipped in August.

Round 6 paid its second tranches to 31 teams. Four teams missed a milestone; three moved their dates with us, and one stopped work, so its last tranche was not paid.

We would rather move a date than fund a deadline nobody believes in.

What we did not spend

We budgeted $400,000 for a second explorer and spent nothing on it. Ledgerlight shipped the features we wanted on its own grant, so the line goes back to the treasury.

What changes next quarter

Round 7 opens with a $3.2M pool for payments and wallets.

The bridge audit vote ends on 3 December.

The annual report moves from February to January.
